LOCATION

Spread across 12 acres of woodland and surrounded by untouched nature and green fields in every direction, become immersed in nature and live in harmony with the incredible native flora and fauna of the South Goan jungle. Located off the beaten tourist track, Khaama Kethna is a secret jungle hideaway designed as an authentic eco sanctuary that provides a uniquely nourishing and adventurous jungle experience. The centre is an example of a modern way to live as close to the earth as possible and wide open to the symphony of its inhabitants in a simple yet refreshing manner encouraging withdrawal into the solitude and serenity of nature.

With a fully comprehensive, holistic and diverse set of facilities spread throughout the beautiful jungle gardens and grounds, the property consists of an onsite primarily plant based restaurant, traditionally handcrafted hut and treehouse style accommodation, 3 activity shalas, a naturopathy & healing centre, an art and pottery centre and seasonal organic vegetable and herb gardens. With natural and organic growth as the main guiding principle, the architecture is free flowing and intuitive and the building practices implemented to create the spaces use a combination of ecological and sustainable materials. All of the structures flow throughout the property with the natural landscape and create an array of organic spaces that are interspersed throughout the premises.

FOOD

Three vegetarian meals will be served daily.

Resting beneath the shelter of the curling cashew trees, the garden restaurant ‘Khaana Khao’ is the heart and hub of Khaama Kethna.

With an ever changing medley of primarily plant based tribal style dishes, we share the fragrant traditional taste of homemade malas combined with fresh locally sourced ingredients to deliver a colorful selection of creatively wholesome and nourishing meals. We believe in putting first things first and therefore our primary focus is on sourcing and using the highest quality plant based ingredients we can find. Our menu, like our jungle environment, changes daily, seasonally and even meal to meal.

COTTAGES

From outdoor showers to trees in the bedroom, sink into the silent stillness of the jungle. Khaama Kethna’s handcrafted eco cottages are an example of a modern way to live as close to the earth as possible and wide open to the symphony of its inhabitants in a simple, comfortable and refreshing manner.

You will stay in one of Khaama Kethna’s unique eco cottages and have the option to book it as a single room or shared with one other person.
